Logistics Accounting Specialist

About the role

Zeal is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Accounting Specialist to support accurate billing, payments, and financial records. This role works with customers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain organized accounts.

Work arrangement: Remote or hybrid Location: Any city for remote work; office location to be confirmed for hybrid Employment type: Full-time and contract opportunities available

What you will do

• Prepare customer invoices using approved rates and shipment documentation.
• Review carrier invoices, proof of delivery, and supporting receipts.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payment reconciliation.
• Follow up on outstanding balances and resolve billing questions.
• Investigate rate discrepancies, duplicate invoices, and missing documents.
• Maintain financial records and support month-end reporting.

Requirements

• Experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, accounts payable, or accounts receivable.
• Strong attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Freight billing or logistics experience preferred.
• English proficiency required; French and/or Spanish is a strong advantage.
