Zeal Staff ("ZealStaff", "we", "us") provides staffing and recruitment services. We connect job seekers with employers and help companies find and hire talent. We serve people and companies in the United States, Canada, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use www.zealstaff.com, create an account, apply for a job or ask us to recruit for your company, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you give us, information created when you use our services, and limited information collected automatically:

Contact information: your name, email address, phone number (including whether it has WhatsApp), city, state and country.
Candidate information: your CV or resume, work history, education, languages, skills, salary expectations, availability, profile photo, documents you upload and answers you give in applications or assessments.
Application information: the jobs you apply to, the status of your applications, interview details and notes from our recruiters.
Employer information: your company name, website, contact person, job openings and hiring needs.
Account information: your login email, password (stored in protected form), language preference and account settings.
Communications: messages you send us or receive through our services by email, WhatsApp, phone or in-app chat.
Usage and attribution information: pages you visit on our website, the website, link or campaign that brought you to us, device and browser type, and approximate location based on your IP address. We use cookies and similar browser storage for this.

2. How we use your information

To provide our services: create and manage your account, match candidates with job openings, process applications and arrange interviews.
To share candidate profiles with prospective employers for jobs you apply to or that fit your profile.
To communicate with you about your account, applications, job opportunities and our services, by email and, if you opt in, by WhatsApp.
To respond to companies that ask us to recruit for them.
To understand how people find and use our website, measure our marketing, and improve our services.
To keep our services secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

With prospective employers: if you are a candidate, we share your professional profile and application information with employers that are considering you for a job. Employers receive your contact details only when needed for the hiring process.
With service providers that help us operate our business (for example, hosting, email and messaging services), under agreements that require them to protect your information and use it only on our behalf.
When required by law, to respond to legal requests, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users, the public or Zeal Staff.
In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this Policy.

4. WhatsApp and email communications

If you check "This number has WhatsApp - send me notifications by WhatsApp", we may send you notifications about your account, applications and opportunities through WhatsApp. This is optional. You can opt out at any time by unchecking the box in your profile, replying STOP, or writing to us at support@zealstaff.com.

We send account and service emails needed to provide our services. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in the email or by contacting us.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your language, and understand which pages and campaigns bring visitors to our website. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Candidate profiles and application records are generally kept for up to 3 years after your last activity so we can consider you for future opportunities, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Employer and prospect records are kept for as long as we have a business relationship and a reasonable period afterwards. We may keep some information longer when required by law or to resolve disputes.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Know and access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information.
Ask us to delete your information.
Withdraw consent you gave us, including for WhatsApp or marketing messages.
Object to or restrict certain uses of your information.
Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
Not be treated differently for exercising these rights.

Colombia (Ley 1581 de 2012 - habeas data)

If you are in Colombia, you have the right to know, update, correct and request deletion of your personal data, to request proof of the authorization you gave us, to be informed about how your data is used, to revoke your authorization, and to file complaints with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC). By creating an account or submitting your information, you authorize Zeal Staff to process your data for the purposes described in this Policy. We will answer queries within 10 business days and claims within 15 business days, as provided by law.

United States, Canada and Mexico

Residents of certain US states may have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as the right to know, delete and correct personal information and to opt out of certain processing. In Canada, you may access and correct your personal information and withdraw consent as provided by applicable privacy law. In Mexico, you may exercise your ARCO rights (access, rectification, cancellation and opposition) under the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

8. How to exercise your rights

Email us at support@zealstaff.com from the email address linked to your account, or tell us how to reach you. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. You can also update much of your information directly in your account profile.

9. International transfers

We operate in several countries, so your information may be stored and processed in countries other than the one where you live, including the United States. When we transfer information, we take steps to protect it as described in this Policy.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

Our services are intended for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in your account.
